Grupo de Oceanografía y Cambio Global de Canarias
Responsable:
EUGENIO OLIVER FRAILE NUEZ-
Descriptión (English):
The Group of Oceanography and Global Change of the Canary Islands is integrated in the Canary Oceanographic Centre as part of the Spanish Oceanographic Institute. The team consists of four consolidated researchers in areas of physical and chemical oceanography. Among his areas of research include: seasonal, interannual and decadal variation of the mass, heat and freshwater transport of the Subtropical Atlantic and Western Mediterranean and its interaction with the atmosphere coupled phenomena such as the North Atlantic Oscillation. Climate Change and Operational Oceanography. Objective Spatial Analysis and Inverse Box Models. Distributions of nutrients and dissolved oxygen across the Atlantic. Volcanology submarine and its relation to future changes of climate change.
